The poodle is a breed with curly coats and exceptional intelligence. It was first set up for water retrieval in Germany. Their curly coat sheds relatively little, so when it becomes dirty, it grows long and shaggy. Poodles have a royal yet affectionate personality and are very devoted pets. The color of a poodle coat can vary in practically infinite ways. Toy poodles usually weigh 4 kg and measure 25 cm. The somewhat larger miniature poodle can grow up to 38 cm in height and weigh up to 8 kg.
